This interview about PETA’s latest sexy campaign had me rolling yesterday! Megyn Kelly of FOX News couldn’t have come off as more uptight or hostile. And do I sense a pinch of homophobia when she warns the viewers that they may want to shield their innocent children or themselves from two women kissing? Oh, the horror! The sad truth is I’m starting to believe PETA has to run these campaigns just so they can get the media attention. Television stations actually refuse to run undercover slaughterhouse footage — like this PSA they did with Casey Affleck which was banned from the airwaves. Even though it’s not mentioned in this interview, PETA has uncovered horrible abuses in just the past year at AgriProcessors and Aviagen Turkeys Inc. There were press releases sent out for both but of course FOX isn’t interested in covering that — just the two girls making out. And one more thing, please watch for where Megyn says she’s an “animal lover.” An animal lover who eats animals? Hmm… maybe she’s a dog and cat lover but I don’t think the pigs, cows, turkeys, chickens, and lambs, are feeling the love.
